Step by Step to Greater Comfort and a Secure Grip
Position and Mark the Rug
Lay your rug in the desired position. Mark one top edge and one side edge of the rug using suitable markers. This will allow you to align the rug precisely in its original position later.
Fold Back the Rug
Carefully fold the rug back away from the markings. Repeat this process until the designated area is fully exposed. If possible, stand on the rug while doing so to prevent it from shifting.
Position the Rug Pad
Place the rug pad on the exposed floor area, leaving a gap of approximately 2–3 cm from the marked edges of the rug.
Lay the Rug Back in Place
Carefully fold the rug back over the rug pad and align it with the markings. Make sure it remains in its original position.
Fully Unroll the Rug Pad
Now fold back the rug from the opposite side. Carefully smooth out the remaining section of the rug pad until it lies completely flat and wrinkle-free on the floor.
Lay the Rug Out Completely
Lay the rug completely over the rug pad again. Gently smooth it out and check that it is properly aligned.
Trim the Rug Pad if Necessary
If the rug pad extends beyond the edges of the rug, you can easily trim it to size using regular scissors. Ideally, the rug pad should be approximately 2–3 cm smaller than the rug on each side.
